AOK Health Day: Back Fit for Employees

In today’s world, where everyday working life is often characterized by long hours at a desk and in front of a computer, back health is becoming increasingly important. One-sided movements at work can also potentially cause back problems. For this reason, we at Dr. Hesse Tierpharma organized a health day for the second time, which this year was all about back health. The AOK was on site as a partner and enriched the event with a wide range of offers.

Varied courses for a strong back

The Health Day offered our employees the opportunity to take part in various courses and activities, all aimed at promoting back health. These included exercises with the Theraband, which helped to strengthen the back muscles and relieve tension. A trigger point massage loosened tense muscles and provided relaxation.

One particular highlight was the presentation on “Behavioral change – how does it actually work?”. Here, the participants received valuable tips on how they can integrate healthier habits into their everyday lives in the long term. An escape room game on the topic of the spine not only provided excitement, but also conveyed important information about the anatomy of the back.

There was also a movement and gait analysis, in which individual movement patterns were analyzed to identify possible causes of back problems. The mobility of the back was checked in another course.

Pleasure for body and soul

Of course, the physical well-being was not to be neglected either. A food truck spoiled the employees with delicious bowls that provided energy for the day. Refreshing drinks ensured that nobody went thirsty.

Occupational health management at Dr. Hesse Tierpharma

The health day was part of our company health management program. At Dr. Hesse Tierpharma, we care about the well-being of our employees and we firmly believe that healthy and happy employees perform better. That’s why we invest in programs and events that promote the health and well-being of our workforce.
