For 60 years, Dr. Hesse Tierpharma GmbH & Co. KG has been providing a wide range of products for the health and nutrition of racing pigeons, poultry, horses, dogs and many other pets & sports animals.

Emerging from the pharmaceutical company Dr. Hesse, founded in 1959, the Röhnfried brand was united under a common roof in the early 1970s. In the 80s, the range was expanded with the premium brand Speed for horses.

Today, the two successful brands Röhnfried – products for pigeons, poultry, falcons and rabbits and IdaPlus – products for dogs, cats and other pets and hobby animals – are used worldwide by animal lovers, veterinarians and successful breeders.

Pharmaceutical expertise, innovative thinking and a specially equipped machine park that meets the highest quality requirements ensure meticulous product development and manufacturing.

We work closely with biological and pharmaceutical laboratories, clinics, veterinarians and the health services. New products are developed and tested in the company’s own laboratories and only released for sale after extensive trials.

We supply the specialized trade as well as veterinarians and pharmacies. This is particularly important for the controlled use of our products as well as for prescription preparations.
